Tracking in Xero

If you have multiple sales channels then you can use Tradevine to track the sales of those channels in Xero. The sales (excluding tax) from each channel can then be viewed in Xero via the Tracking Summary report.

You will first need to set up Tracking in Xero before setting it up in Tradevine.

Configure Xero

Log into Xero and go to SettingsGeneral SettingsTracking. From here you can add a Tracking Category. Then add as many Category Options as you need.

 

Configure Tradevine

Once you have configured Tracking in Xero, then on the Tradevine side you can hook in the mappings for your manual sales orders, Trade Me and Shopify accounts.

Manual sales orders

From the Xero Integration screen map the tracking category to use for your manual sales orders.

Trade Me accounts

If you are integrated with Trade Me then you can map a tracking category for each Trade Me account. Navigate to the Settings > Trade Me Settings screen and drill into the Trade Me account. Expand the Xero panel and map the tracking category to use.

Shopify accounts

If you are integrated with Shopify then you can map a tracking category for each Shopify account. Navigate to the Settings > Shopify Settings screen and drill into the Shopify account. Expand the Xero panel and map the tracking category to use.
