You can view some helpful metrics for your sales orders to date. The screen can be found under the Reporting menu.

The metrics exclude cancelled orders. You have the option to exclude or include the SHIP product in the metrics.

Use the Zoom buttons located at the bottom of the charts, to change the view of the data over days, months or over the last year.

Be aware that a year in financial terms is sometimes regarded as 12 months at 30 days each.

At the top of each chart you will generally find balances for the period, which cover the opening, closing, lows, highs and period averages. You can temporarily hide most of the balances by mousing over the chart.

You can explicitly state the start and end date by using the Custom period input fields located at the bottom of the screen. The start date is limited to a date of no more than a year from today. The end date cannot be a date which is greater than the most recent sales order.

The bottom panel of the bottom chart provides a diamond shaped slider, which can be dragged to change the date range on the fly. You might need to mouse over the bottom panel to see the diamond shaped sliders.

But wait there's more … you can play the data by selecting the Play button, which also lives on the bottom panel. Use the Pause button to freeze the display. As well use the Slider bar to control the speed.

The charts are compatible with devices, which are not Flash enabled, like iPads, but you may see small differences in the layout and some functionality like the Play buttons etc are missing.
