Enable JavaScript
Enabling JavaScript is required for search features etc to work. See the instructions below on enabling JavaScript for your browser. If your browser and version aren’t listed, please consult the browsers help resources.
Chrome 32.0+ (we recommend upgrading to at least version 32)
- Select the Customize menu button (currently the 3 stripes button).
- Select the Settings menu.
- Select the Show advanced settings link.
- Under Privacy, select the Content settings button.
- Under the JavaScript section, select the Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended) option.
Firefox 3.6+
The ability to easily disable JavaScript was removed from Firefox in version 23.0 onward. If you are on a version lower than this, then you should upgrade to the latest Firefox.
If you are still encountering issues that you think are related to JavaScript, then contact us to find out how to check and set the javascript.enabled setting in your Firefox config.
Internet Explorer 8.0+
- Select the Tools menu. (If the menus are hidden then select the Alt key to display/hide the menus).
- Select Internet Options.
- Select the Security tab.
- Select the Custom Level button.
- Scroll down until you see the Scripting section. Under the sub menu Active Scripting select the Enable radio button.
- Select the OK button.
- If you see a confirmation window, select the Yes button.
Opera 18.0+ (we recommend upgrading to at least version 18)
- Select the Opera button. (If the menus are hidden then select the Alt key to display/hide the menus).
- Select the Settings menu (keyboard shortcut CTRL+F12).
- Select the Websites sidebar menu.
- Under JavaScript select Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended).
Safari 5.1+
- Select the Safari menu.
- Select Preferences (keyboard shortcut CTRL+, ).
- Select the Security tab.
- Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
Upgrading your browser or installing new security software or security patches may affect your JavaScript settings.
